Our Team

Scott McCullough

Chief Executive Officer

Scott McCullough is the Chief Executive Officer of Charter Industries. He is responsible for all aspects of the business, including setting strategic direction, new investments, and overall company performance.

Prior to Charter, Scott led companies within the Oil and Gas, Metals, Building Materials, and MRO markets.

Scott received a B.S. from the University of Phoenix and an M.B.A. from Webster University. He also holds a technical degree in Electrical and Mechanical principles and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Scott enjoys golf, and spending time with his family.

Chris Johnson

Vice President of Sales

Chris has over 25 years experience in the furniture/casegoods industry. During the past 20+ years at Charter Industries, Chris has led the strategic direction and implementation of the growth strategy for the company. Chris is also responsible for the execution and management of the entire Charter Industries sales cycle.

Chris holds a B.A. in Economics and Management from Albion College.

In his spare time, Chris can be found standing in or near a Michigan trout stream pondering his next cast.

Tom Benedict

Chief Financial Officer

Tom is responsible for all aspects of financial and IT oversight of the Charter business. This includes accounting, treasury, tax, audit, insurance, financial planning and analysis, HR, and information technology. Prior to joining Charter, Tom held various finance and operational leadership roles with several consumer goods manufacturing companies including Chrysler, Whirlpool, and Lippert Components.

Tom holds an MBA from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, MI and a Bachelor’s degree in finance from Central Michigan University.

Tom enjoys staying active by participating in sports, exercising, and spending time with his wife and their three children.

Christopher Cumming

Vice President of Operations

Chris joined Charter in 1994. He is responsible for all inventory management, warehousing and freight traffic.

Previously, Chris was in Purchasing at Celestron in Torrance, CA, and Sales for The Easy Reader in Hermosa Beach, CA and Sales for PRN Medical Supplies in Royal Oak, MI.

Chris Received his BA in Marketing from Michigan State University.
In Chris’ limited free time, he enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, and spending time with his family.

Josh Haveman

Vice President of Purchasing

Josh Haveman joined Charter Industries in August 2008. He is responsible for caring for vendor relationships, inventory analysis, and production management.

Previously, Josh worked as a commodity manager and procurement specialist servicing the largest automotive manufacturers and tier 1 suppliers.

Josh received his B.A. in Business Communications from Calvin University.

Josh enjoys tennis, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and four boys.

Eileen Moulenbelt

Customer Service Manager

Eileen is responsible for overseeing Charter’s Customer Service team. She is motivated in helping customers, sales reps and operations teams. She is confident, reliable and knowledgeable of Charter products and services.

Eileen has a strong background in previous Customer Service positions in several areas including automotive production and advertising marketing specialties.

Eileen and her husband have 3 daughters, and enjoy traveling, golfing, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Matt Driesenga

Controller

Matt Driesenga, Controller, joined Charter Industries in October 2019. He is responsible for all aspects of Accounting, including Financial Planning & Analysis, and working with external Auditors.

Previously, Matt worked as Senior Financial Analyst and Accounting Manager at various companies including Plasan Carbon Composites, Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions, and Precision Castparts Corp.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Davenport University and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Matt volunteers with a local Humane Society & Animal Rescue group where he serves as board treasurer.
