Any adhesive doing its job well hides forever between the substrate and the edgebanding. We suggest that you “stick” with high-quality hot melt adhesive because it prolongs the life of cabinetry and increases client satisfaction. We stock Charter and Jowat hot melt glue in pellets and cartridges for automatic edgebanders. To choose the right hot melt to put in the glue pot of your edgebander, first look at the specs of the edgebander. Next, consider the material and color of the substrate and edgebanding.
If you are not sure which is the best hot melt for a particular job, give us a call. We have years of experience helping find the best adhesive for a situation. Many clients select Jowat’s Translucent Natural and Charter’s own Clear glues for their almost invisible glue lines and bond strengths.
We also carry the Lil’ Nipper that makes cutting T-Molding edging easier.
