We have created this privacy statement to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy by helping you understand what kind of information we collect through the Site as well as how we use your information.

From time to time, we may modify our privacy policy practices. In such an event, we will update this Privacy Policy, and post such revised Privacy Policy to the Site. We do not collect or use Personal Information (as described below) about you on the Site except as discussed in this Privacy Statement.

We do not sell, share, or intentionally make available to third parties or the general public your Personal Information, except (a) as expressly disclosed below and/or (b) to our third party vendors and suppliers as may be necessary for them to perform services related to the Site on our behalf. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to direct such third parties to comply with this Privacy Policy.

As used in this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” includes one or more of the following types of information: company name, name, email address, business mailing address, ship-to address, phone number, city, state, and similar unique, personal information that could identify you. Personal Information addressed herein also includes the information that you elect to provide when you return the Charter Credit Application (downloadable from the Site) via fax.

Disclosures/Use of Information

Contact Us. If you opt to use the “Contact Us” form on the Site, we ask for your company name, your name, your email address, your city and state and your phone number (f you would like a call back). We use this information only to respond to your stated request.

Orders. If you elect to email an order to us, we will use personal information provided with your order to communicate with you about your order. Additionally, your name, business address, ship-to address and your order information will be added to our customer database and stored accordingly. We use this information only to fulfill your order and otherwise contact you about the products you have ordered.

Charter Credit Application. If you elect to download a Charter Credit Application from the Site, we will use the information you submit on the application form to process your application for credit from Charter Industries, including running routine company credit history reports through third-party reporting agencies, credit and/or background checks through third-party reporting agencies on officer or owner information that you elect to provide, following up on reference checks with the third-party references you elect to provide. The Charter Credit Application you submit, along with the completed reports referenced above will be collected into a credit file and that file will be used by Charter to make a credit decision based on the information provided and obtained; and that file will subsequently be stored in a locked cabinet.
